Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site (New York), Caretaker’s House
Ennis Duling, a member of the Mount Independence Coalition board of directors, will give a talk at the Caretakers House at the Bennington Battlefield State Historic Site next Saturday, beginning at 2:00 pm. In the illustrated talk, Duling will stress the many links between Mount Independence and the American victory at the Battle of Bennington.
Duling has written on the American Revolution for Vermont History, and the Journal of the American Revolution, among others. He was a crucial contributor to the Coalition’s publication Strong Ground, and is the author of Thirteen Charges Against Benedict Arnold.
The Caretakers House is located at 30 Caretaker’s Road, Hoosick Fall, New York. The program is free and open to the public. However, they do ask that if you anticipate attending that you RSVP via email.
