The Courier has been a long-standing publication of the Mount Independence Coalition with articles about the history of the Mount and information related to the historic site and the Coalition itself. Because only a limited number of Couriers could be printed and distributed, only a limited number of people could read the articles and learn more about Mount Independence.

We have decided to make The Courier an online publication with the hope that its information about Mount Independence and related topics could reach a wider audience.

On The Courier website, you will find new Featured Articles published as we receive them (no waiting to accumulate enough for a once-a-year printed version), an archive of PDF versions of the last ten printed Couriers, as well as other news related to the Mount (such as the Site Administrator’s periodic reports). The site you are currently on, will still be the main place for postings about upcoming events and Coalition business.
