Sunday, September 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Walk the Mount with site administrator Elsa Gilbertson and site interpreter Paul Andriscin. Together with them, you will be exploring the happenings of 1776 and the start of construction of the Revolutionary War defenses built here. What remnants can still be seen on the ground today? Who were some of the key figures involved in building Independence on Lake Champlain?

The tour is included with regular site admission of $5.00 for adults and free for children under 15 and Mount Independence Coalition members.

Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water if you like.
