Elsa Gilbertson, Mount Independence's site administrator, appeared with Steve Perkins of the Vermont Historical Society and reporter Amanda Lindquist to discuss the significance of the Lake Champlain bridges spanning the narrows between Chimney Point and Crown Point.
Willard Sterne Randall discusses his new book
Author and historian Willard Sterne Randall has spoken several times at Mount Independence over the years. His new book, Unshackling America: How the War of 1812 Truly Ended the American Revolution, will be published in June. He spoke about it with Lauren-Glenn Davitian on Town Meeting Television recently. It's a very interesting interview.
