Sue Wetmore, who leads the annual bird hike at the Mount, reports the sighting of 18 species in a 2.9 mile walk on February 22.

Here is our list from today’s walk around the orange trail. We also flushed an owl of undetermined species, most likely a great horned. We found a down feather and a owl pellet plus scat where it had been roosting. Walking is slippery and we had appropriate YakTracs.
