March 29, 2020 – It will be no surprise to anyone that the current health crisis affecting the world is also affecting 2020 plans for Mount Independence. We have already cancelled two pre-season events (The Spring Wildflower Walk and the Strong Ground Walk About). There is a strong likelihood that the official season will be pushed back from Memorial Day Weekend, though that has not yet been determined.

Also quite possible is that we will have to postpone the Annual meeting, which usually takes place on the second Saturday of June.
