Mount Independence State Historic Site opens officially for the season on Friday, May 26. It will be open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm through October 16. Admission is $8.00 for adults, $1.00 for children 14 to 6, under 6 free. Coalition members enter free.

The site is located at 497 Mount Independence Road, six miles west of the intersections of Vermont Routes 22A and 73 near Orwell village. Carefully follow the signs.
