The Mount Independence Coalition is holding a party to celebrate the publication of Strong Ground: Mount Independence and the American Revolution.

Saturday, July 29 at 12:30 p.m.

The festivities will begin with a little pomp and ceremony, as we reflect on the history of the Mount and the work that went into the writing and creation of Strong Ground. Then we’ll unveil the cake and some refreshments to enjoy while listening to the music of Atlantic Crossing Duo. As of now, the weather is promising to be good, so bring a blanket or some chairs to sit on the lawn. Bring a picnic lunch to supplement the refreshments.

And admission is free to the public — and it is always free to current Coalition members.
